Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes according to the highest culinary standards.
  • Support senior chefs in the kitchen during food production and service.
  • Responsible for proper mise en place and stock rotation to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workstations and equipment.
  • Execute tasks assigned by senior chefs promptly and efficiently.
  • Actively participate in menu development and contribute innovative ideas for new dishes.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards in line with hotel policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve seamless kitchen operations.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:


What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Commis 3 or similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
  • Preopening experience is advantageous, demonstrating the ability to adapt in dynamic and fastpaced environments.
  • Formal culinary training or relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in culinary basics including knife skills, cooking methods, and ingredient preparation.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen equipment usage, safety, and maintenance.
  • Thorough knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles a
