Description

• Negotiates favorable terms, volumediscounts and long-term contracts with suppliers for theprocurement of goods, services andsupplies.
• Manage secure and sustainable supplychain and ensure maximum value is achieved for thebusiness.
• Directly supervises the ProcurementTeam, prioritizes tasks, sets goals and objectives related toprocessing purchase orders of its productcategory.
• Executes, tracks and reports purchaseorders and delivery status.
• Tracks and reportsProcurement performance according to theKPIs.
• Manages suppliers'registration, qualification and performance of its productcategory.
• Resolves defects and deliveryproblems with suppliers.
• Relies uponexperience, knowledge and interpersonal skills to ensureprocurement execution and maintenance of procurement files incompliance with policies, procedures, and businessstrategy.
• Works closely with other functionsand the business areas of the PSA (i.e. demand planning, projectcontrols, warehouse, logistics and quality assurance) to ensureaccurate and timely fulfilment of the clientorder.
• Performs other duties asassigned.

RequiredEducation/Experience

• Bachelor'sdegree in Business, Materials/Inventory Management, Supply ChainManagement or related field from an accrediteduniversity.
• Minimum 5 years of experience inprocurement and category management.
• Minimum 1year supervisory/managementexperience.
• Excellent written and oral EnglishLanguage and any other foreignlanguage.

• Goodcommercial acumen.
