    Requirements

    • Theoverall production execution and management of Caterer Middle Eastacross print and digitalproducts.
    • Maintaininga strong working relationship with the commercialteam.
    • Thecontent strategy and planning of editorial calendar across digitalprint video audio andsocial.
    • Theideation and development of creative front covers for the monthlymagazine.
    • Meetingdigital traffic targets and finding ways to grow the audiencewithin brandguidelines.
    • Supportingthe Group Editor with the Caterer Middle East annual Awardsprocesses and calendar ofevents.
    • Ensuringall content reflects overall content/editorialstrategy.
    • Determinewhat medium is best suited for a particular content piece andmaking sure it is published todeadline.
    • Ensurethe titles editorial standards are met all relevant copyrights havebeen cleared the content is legally and morally safe content isoptimised for SEO and content meets local and legalguidelines.
    • Beingan ambassador for thetitles.
    • Developingrevenuegenerating content strategies and establishing good externalrelationships.
    • Representingthe brandsinternally.
    • Usecontacts and socialmedia networks to identify industry trends andreact to them with strong editorialcontent.
    • Beable to attend events outside of officehours.
    • Embracea digitalfirstphilosophy.

    Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of writers,reporters, and contributors to produce high-quality content fordigital and print platforms. Develop and execute an effectivecontent strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives andresonates with our target audience. Plan, assign, write, and editarticles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuringaccuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's editorialstandards. Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developmentsto ensure the brand's content remains timely and relevant.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, includingindustry experts and partners, to enhance content quality andcoverage. Ensure the timely publication of content across variousplatforms, including the brand's website, social media channels,and print publications. Monitor and analyse content performancemetrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering aculture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth.Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications,English, or a related field. A minimum of five years of editorialexperience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred.Required Skills: Exceptional English written and verbalcommunication skills. Strong editorial skills including editing,proofreading, and fact checking. Creative thinker with a keen eyefor design and visual aesthetics. Excellent organisational andproject management skills. Proficient in using editorial softwareand tools. Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms,content management systems, and SEO best practices. Paywallexperience. Project budget management skills. Desirable Attributes:Passionate about the GCC technology market. Ability to workeffectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Collaborative teamplayer with strong interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable about thelatest trends in the travel industry. Energetic, self-motivated,and results driven. International roaster of travel writers andphotographers.
