Reviews credit limit report on a daily basis.- Be aware about all front office standard operating procedures.
- Registers guests and assign rooms, accommodate special requests whenever possible.
- Stays up to date on room rates, packages, discounts, and how to handle each as well as how each relates to other departments.
- Reports any unusual occurrence to front office manager, AFOM in the absence of Team leader
- Develops good working knowledge of reservation department, take same day reservations when necessary.
- Understands and use proper mail, package and message handling procedures.
- Checks same day reservations and blocking to avoid any blocking conflict.
- Registers guests and assign suites, accommodate special requests whenever possible, preregistration and blocking of reservation when necessary
- Develops a thorough knowledge of the room rack, suites location, and types of Room operation.
- Promptly notify housekeeping of all checkouts, also inform housekeeping of late check outs, early checkins, special requests.
- Takes the responsibility of answering guest's queries efficiently and correctly.
- Assists guests with restaurant reservations, confirming air tickets, etc.
- Maintains all guests' accounts in a current state of accuracy.
- Checks out guests and obtain payment of their accounts ensuring completeness of all Guest bill and ensuring acceptability of method of payment.
- To handle cash, foreign exchange, etc.
- Maintains records for the accounting aspect of cashiering functions, depositing cash etc.
- To handle safe deposit boxes and to maintain an accurate record (computer & manual).
- To prepare and balance a cash report, and remittance envelope at the end of each shift.
- To control master keys available at the front desk.
- Maintains accurate record for the police book on daily basis.
- Practices aggressive selling techniques and maintain continuous control of the daily room rack operations and future availability to ensure maximum room revenue.
- Maintains high standard of personal hygiene at all times.
- To understand and adhere to Central Hotels & Resorts policies and procedures related to fire, health, and safety.
- To control issuing of master keys and room keys given to our guests.
- Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area, as well as the back area.
- To read and initial all front office log books to be updated about any new information or instructions.
- Should work flexible shifts, hours according to business demands.
