Description
To oversee the successful completion of projects as per agreed standard, cost and time.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
:
Manage and coordinate between the consultant and contractor. Establish initial project work schedule. Follow up on the approved schedule.
Manage the design development and tendering processes. Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
Follow up with governmental authorities relative to project approvals. Meets cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions.


Assist the main contractor in the review of Contractor quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval.

Provide technical support to site staff during the construction phase.
Review to all technical submittal during the project such as RFI, CVI, SD etc. Establish project control and reporting procedures.


CORE FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES
:
Acts as the client representative with the Contractors during the execution. Identify the scope of work with nominated subcontractors.
Negotiate price of work with nominated subcontractors. Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Quality, and other documents as required by HSE.

Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.


Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project.

Advises the client and company management of any such changes.
Establishes weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.


MUST:
- should have technical knowledge of construction.
- should be familiar with software related to construction. ( AUTOCAD/ Primavera / MS Projects / MS Excel (Vlookup / Visual reporting )/ MS word )
- will be moving to different sites/ factories, should be able to manage own transport.


Salary:
AED3, AED4,000.00 per month
