Job summary
The Electrical Inspector will ensure the contractors are compliant with the contract documents and coordinate on a daily basis with other teams to document and verify quality and quantity of work performed by Contractor.The job duties include reading and understanding package contract documents detailed drawings specifications health safety measures updates ensuring contractor compliance tracking quality assurance progress maintaining records of contractor manpower equipment daily resources undertaking site supervision inspections when required instructed Resident Engineer Assistant Resident Engineer documenting in areas assigned to Inspector contractor personnel activities observed reason for activities means methods utilised reporting materials delivery following implementing any site instructions made leader applying implementing all quality controls procedures site preparing any measurements surveying checks needed monitoring conformance to quality performance code requirements performing inspection duties monitor Health Safety construction works report violations good knowledge basic design requirements familiar Electrical methodologies installation processes procedures knowledge Building Codes experience Buildings types horizontal development mixed use residential commercial retail hospitality effective oral written communication skills competent writing reports presenting views clearly concisely good written English detailed knowledge construction techniques Qualifications Diploma Engineering related Degree Engineering fields experience Electrical related type projects Construction Supervision Consultancy minimum years overall experience UAE.
