Position Overview
undertake a variety of responsibilities including blood collection, performing basic laboratory

procedures, preparing samples for dispatching, data entry and follow up with external

This position requires experience in working with medical laboratories and under possibly

hazardous conditions (e.g., pathogens or chemicals).


Core Responsibilities

  • Collect blood samples from clients.
  • Receive, verify and label blood samples.
  • Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures.
  • Organize and store all materials, chemical substances, and fluids according to safety
instructions.

  • Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and
according to required timelines.

  • Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and
orderly environment.

  • Provide support and resolution for any inquiries from clients including investigating and
resolving complaints.

  • Foster Aviv organizational culture by exceeding customer expectations every step of the
way and securing long-term client relations while maintaining trust and credibility.

  • Regular and punctual attendance is an essential requirement of this job role.
  • Maintain an effective and engaging rapport with clients, visitors, physicians and other
members of the Clinic team.

  • Promote confidentiality and use complete discretion, particularly when discussing client
information.

  • Assist in manual handling of clients.
  • Assist the nursing team in obtaining and recording client vital signs, as well as with setting
up and cleaning HBOT suites.

  • Support with translation/interpretation when needed.
  • May perform other duties/projects when assigned.

Experience and Skills

  • At least three (3) years of experience in medical laboratories, taking and processing blood
samples.

  • Experience in operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment.
  • Holding an active DHA license as Phlebotomist/Medical Laboratory Technologist
(Technician) or eligible to be licensed.

  • Technically agile and enthusiastic about new technologies, willing to learn and
specialize in novel health evaluation and training platforms.

  • Skilled in providing excellent customer service and support, sensitive to patient's needs
and difficulties.

  • Must demonstrate efficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, & Outlook) and able to
function in a high-tech environment; previous and current use of an Electronic Medical

Record ("EMR") is essential.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact, and be courteous with clients, team members, and
vendors in a professional manner always - responding promptly and accurately to

questions/inquiries/concerns.

  • Current basic life support (BLS) certification (with AED) preferred.

Salary:
AED9, AED10,000.00 per month
