Job Description:
Accountant (10 years experience, Master's degree)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of professional accounting experience and a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing financial data, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:


Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and guidelines.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic planning and resource allocation decisions.

General Ledger Management:
Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. Perform monthly and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

Financial Analysis:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to improve financial performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare financial reports for management.

Tax Compliance:
Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns. Stay updated on tax regulations and assist in tax planning strategies.

Audit and Compliance:
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain proper internal controls.

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency. Implement best practices and recommend system enhancements to improve financial operations.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the organization.


Requirements:

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and guidelines.

Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Experience in managing financial reporting and the month-end/year-end closing process.

Familiarity with tax compliance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is a plus.


Salary:
AED6, AED10,000.00 per month
