Description
We seek a creative-thinking Commis Chef with unique presentation skills and experience in catering.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare salads, mini sandwiches, mini wraps, mini crepes, mini pastries, etc.
  • Use different ideas to create and decorate the food.
  • Present the food in an instagramable way.
  • Clean and organize workstations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas following food safety regulations.
  • Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients.
  • Storing ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations.
  • Assisting with the monitoring of inventory.
  • Reporting all damaged or faulty equipment to the Kitchen Manager.
  • Prepare a large quantity of food for catering in a fast way.

Requirements:


  • Graduate in Culinary School
  • Prior experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent creative thinking skills.
  • Unique food presentation skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities, and a fast learner.
  • Capacity to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work shifts over weekends and public holidays, as needed.

Salary:
AED2, AED3,000.00 per month
