- To lead the team of Engineers andDesigners
- To participate in project schedulingand project review activities
- Provideengineering input during all design phases, includinginterpretation and challenge of standards
- Carryout calculations & studies required to finalize electricalequipment specifications
- Prepare requisitionsand technical evaluation of bids for discipline material andequipment procurement
- Review vendor'sdocument to ensure equipment vendors provide timely and qualityinput into design packages
- Preparation ofdesign documents which includes SLDs, Protection & Controlschematics and layout drawings
- Ensure designpackages meet the relevant safety, environmental and ergonomicstandards
- Actively communicate with otherdisciplines to optimize areas of interface, during the designdevelopment, review and check processes
- Supportdesign/drawing office personnel with specialist engineeringinput
- Review all third party discipline designwork
- Understand the contract quality managementsystem and ensure these requirements aremet
- Participate in and sometimes lead,discipline design reviews
- Engineering Degree in a relevantdiscipline
- Overall 15+ years of experience, outof which 5-8 years must be in the Oil and Gassector
- Fully coherent in all internationalcodes and standards.
- Experience working onSaudi Aramco projects is preferred.
- Excellentcommand of both spoken and written English isrequired
- Enthusiastic, conscientious and keento learn / Flexible with a can-doattitude
