    Description
    • To handle all leads from the salesteam and direct client inquiries, regarding group and banquetingrequests.
    • To maintain a close workingrelationship with the client from the initial proposal sending, toonsite liaison between hotel andorganizer.
    • Liaise with sales account managerson any corporate or group issues and activities as required,maintaining communication internally
    • To reviewfunction blocked by you weekly to ensure that all business on thebooks is "live" and traced, and tracked forconfirmation
    • Ensure that all agreements (groupsand catering contracts) follow the established hotel policies andprocedures and are based on sound commercialjudgment.
    • To ensure that all credit andcollection procedures that have been established by the hotel areimplemented following the established Credit Policies &Procedures.
    • To develop professional conferenceand incentive sales proposals that win business for Park Hyatt AbuDhabi.
    • To develop an excellent knowledge ofOpera, and Envision systems in order to be competent in checkingreservations, room type availability, and function spaceavailability.
    • To have the strong hotel productknowledge and be well versed in up-sellingtechniques.
    • To ensure that all cateringcontracts follow the established Hotel Policies &Procedures and are based and sound commercialjudgment.
    • To ensure correct booking proceduresare applied in relation to group room allocations, meeting set-ups,catering terms and contractual agreements.
    • Toensure that all events are carried out in an innovative and stylishfashion that reflects positively on the customer's eventand remains a positive brand contact for Park Hyatt AbuDhabi.
    • To maintain complete and supportedrecords of all sales agreements, contract,s and quotes for thehotel as per Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villasprocedures.
    • To entertain potential and currentcustomers based on business priorities
    • Attendand participate in site inspections.
    • To have agood understanding of contribution margins for each product andwork with respective heads of departments to maximize operatingresults.
    • To achieve targets in terms of thenumber of Group Room Nights, Average Rate, Banquet Covers, andrevenue as set by the Director of Sales & Marketing andDirector ofSales.

    Qualifications

    Minimum2 years work experience in government, weddings, and MICE segmentor in a similar role in a luxury international brand hotel withinUAE.
