    Job Description

    Job Purpose

    The mission of the GCOO Business Management function is to make the GCOO function an enabler of technology and state-of-art processing for our business lines to better serve existing and potential FAB customers, globally. Group Chief Operating Officer's Business Management department entails 6 critical functions:

    1. FABRIC (FAB's Research and Innovation Center) for providing the innovation tools and instilling the innovation culture in the way FAB operates while spearheading the exploration for the cutting-edge tech in banking
    2. GCOO Program Management for large transformational programs related to Group Tech and Group Operations
    3. GCOO Business Process Management for Process reengineering, Operations Support and group-wide process documentation
    4. GCOO Shared Services governance and performance management for in/out-sourced centralized operations activities
    5. GCOO Financial Performance tracking and reporting for all departments
    6. GCOO Strategy & Planning for steering Tech and Operations teams into the direction set by the Bank leadership and Group Strategy and aligning goals and team structures accordingly.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Assist in the coordination of data analysis and reporting activities within the GCOO Office, contributing to the generation of valuable insights for decision-making.
    • Collaborate with teams to collect and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
    • Support streamlined reporting processes, helping to ensure efficient data handling and presentation.
    • Contribute to the creation of basic reports and visual aids that present key performance indicators (KPIs) and basic trends, aiding in performance evaluation.
    • Assist in preparing materials for meetings, offering input to discussions on GCOO performance and strategies.
    • Provide support to the AVP in data-driven decision-making by supplying relevant information as needed.
    • Participate in basic MIS-related tasks and contribute to maintaining MIS tools and systems.
    • Stay informed about reporting and analysis best practices, suggesting ways to improve GCOO reporting activities.
    • Assist in managing data analysis and reporting functions within the GCOO Office, focusing on generating insights for informed decisions.
    • Collaborate with teams to gather and arrange data from various sources, ensuring data quality.
    • Contribute to the optimization of reporting processes to enhance efficiency in handling data.
    • Support the creation of fundamental reports and visuals displaying KPIs and basic trends, aiding performance assessment.
    • Aid in preparing meeting materials that provide input on GCOO performance and strategies.
    • Assist the AVP in data-oriented decision-making by providing relevant information.
    • Contribute to basic MIS tasks and upkeep of MIS tools and systems.
    • Keep track of reporting best practices, proposing ways to enhance GCOO reporting activities.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualification

    • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related discipline.

    Minimum Experience

    • 5 to 7+ years of experience in banking, MI management or strategy role.
    • Strategy consulting back-ground preferable

    Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

    • Strong analytical and problem skills, with a proven track record in a strategy role (preferably in the financial industry).
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
