    Currently, EDF Renewables Middle East is looking for a:

    PROJECT QUALITY OFFICER (M/F)

    Responsibilities

    • Support the quality function promote and integrate quality into every aspect of the project.
    • Implement the Quality Management System of the project;
    • Ensure that inspections and tests are done according to the plans, the project's execution requirements, and the contracts' requirements;
    • Ensure that the non-conformities are managed properly, observations are done, and opportunities for improvement are proposed;
    • Ensure that the measuring and testing equipments are fit for use;
    • Supervise the management of the technical documents.

    Main activities

    • Maintain consistent and documented compliance with all relevant safety, Health Environment (SHE), Quality and best practice requirements.
    • Support the site Quality Management System including routine maintenance and issue of documentation for change controls, deviations, actions plans and CAPA.
    • Document controller activities for all controlled documentations including policies, procedures, technical specifications and project's requirements.
    • Control and issue requested project's documentation.
    • Compile batches of documents necessary for certification.
    • Participate in roots cause analysis investigations arising from deviations and complaints as required and prepare immediate, corrective actions as well as evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed actions.
    • Support both internal and external audits including participation in the audits, drafting of the reports, agreeing CAPA and following them up as required.
    • System maintenance and issue of documentation for the supplier assessment program including audits, supplier evaluation and technical quality agreements.
    • Logging and issue of risk assessments, calibration, qualification and validation of documentation as required.
    • Perform technical inspections on the activities that are being performed.
    • Follow up on qualification audits of external providers.
    • Perform factory inspection and expediting of external suppliers.
    • Verify if the technological control of concrete and soils is being carried out according to the requirements.
    • Supervise the receipt of materials/equipment on site, ensuring that they are in adequate condition and have the factory's quality documentation.
    • Verify the reports and test reports of the materials and equipment as defined in the inspection and testing plan.
    • Promote the recording of lessons learned.
    • Insure the interface with the subcontractors, participate in meetings and work together with the owner's engineering in promoting quality assurance actions.
    • Provide training course as appropriate.
    • Monitor the indicators of the projects in each area.
    • Carry out the Data Book conference of suppliers and contractors.
    • Perform actions that can promote the continuous improvement of the project.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Qualifications and knowledges

    The successful candidate will possess the following educational/ experiential background:

    • Bachelor's degree: Electrical, mechanical or civil engineering.
    • Technical course: Electrical, Metallic, Buildings.
    • Interpretation and implementation of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standards.
    • English speaking.
    • Experience of Power BI is a plus.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience working in electrical installation projects, transmission lines, substation assembly, renewable energy projects.
    • Experience with large solar projects over 300 WM is mandatory.
    • Knowledge of Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
    • Knowledge of national and international technical standards.
    • Drafting and handling of non-conformities.
    • Data Book Organization.
