    Responsibilities

    • Support the Safety Shield approach ofWood
    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness ofthe HSSE management system and progress against the Wood HSSEPerformance Standards. Make recommendations for improvement whereappropriate
    • Provide assistance and advice tothe Project Manager / Location Manager with responsibility forHSSE.
    • Contribute towards developing annual HSSEobjectives for [contract / [project / location]. Monitor and reporton the implementation and effectiveness
    • Assistwith the identification of HSSE training needs and monitor deliveryand recording
    • Monitor and report on theimplementation of the approved HSSEobjectives
    • Produce HSSE performance reports asrequired
    • Promptly alert line and functionalmanagement to significant accidents and incidents. Whereappropriate be involved in the investigation and ensure that thefindings are reported and appropriatelyshared
    • Review accident and incident reports.Identify any trends and ensure that there is appropriate responseto prevent future occurrence
    • Planning,coordination, and delivery of internal audits for [contract /[project / location]. Close out of assurance actions in a timelymanner ensuring that findings are reported and shared appropriatelyand opportunities for improvement sought.
    • Partof Emergency Response organization forProject
    • Maintain compliance with HSSElegislative requirements, provide updates asrequired
    • Writing of technical documents such asprocedures, management documents, investigation reports andaudits.
    • Cross site visits to provide support,coaching, collaboration, and bestpractice
    • Participate in HSSE Function AwayDays
    • Provide support to Function and / or otherprojects as necessary
    • Provide cover for otherHSSE personnel
    • Deliver HSSE induction andinternal HSSE trainings

    Qualifications

    • Suitable and relevant experience in aHSSE Advisory role within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemicalindustry, preference toward international offshore HUC HSSEexperience. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Bruneian WHSLegislation and BSP offshore servicedelivery
    • International tertiaryqualification
    • NEBOSH International GeneralCertificate or equivalent
    • Lead Auditorqualified
    • Incident Investigation qualified(Taproot, ICam, Beta)
    • Craft experience orcertification (e.g., Scaffolding, CSE, , Rigging / Slinging,P2W)
    • BOISET -desirable
    • MIST -desirable
