    This position requires a qualified candidatewho possesses recent experience (at least the last 5 years) inmanaging designprojects.

    • BusinessProcesses: Policy knowledge, including health,safety, environment, company ethics, and business best practices.Should have a complete understanding of all contractualobligations, including AECOM DOA's and risk committeeprocedures. Must have a thorough understanding consenting andregulatory authority for approvals. Performs technical qualityreviews, including documentation in project record by followingpolicies and procedures.
    • GeneralManagement: Undertakes full responsibility forproject delivery and integrates project management elements as aportfolio manager. Identifies and exploits opportunities as theyarise throughout the projects life cycle. Responsible fordelivering revenues assigned from specific clients, includingrepeat business, due to the flawless execution ofprojects.
    • Team Management:Provides day to day management, recruits, trains,mentors, and evaluates project delivery staff'sperformance. Has formal supervisory responsibilities definingproject team operating standards and meeting essential proceduralrequirements.
    • Client/StakeholderManagement: Assists with proposals to provideservices for projects or programs. Communicates with clients todiscuss work scope, requests information to support projectexecution, and receives client comments on draft work products.Contributes to the bidding process to win future works-able toinfluence customers, suppliers and peers. Actively pursuescontinuous learning of technical advances, emergingbusiness/industry trends. Identifies and develops new processesthat lead to improved efficiency or work quality for competitivepositioning,
    • CommercialManagement: Delivers planned profit margins andcompletes projects without write-downs or margin erosion. Typicallymanages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors). Hasdecision-making authority and directs other Project Managers inrecognising risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate such.Minimises exposure to claims. Fully comprehends the principles ofAECOM's financial systems and is conversant in allcontractual matters.
    • TechnicalExcellence: Has experience in design elements and agood understanding of safety in design principles. Ensurestechnical quality reviews, including documentation in the projectrecord, as per policies and procedures. Ensures that the technicalapproach satisfies the client scope of services and expectations.Engages with project technical teams within a field of expertise toconfirm project approach and reviewsdeliverables.
    • InterdisciplinaryCoordination: Able to oversee multi-disciplinarydesign teams. Contributes as an in-house expert on specifictechnologies or processes. Responsible for ensuring designdisciplines working on projects collaborate effectively to developcomprehensive technical solutions. Resolves issues or problemsconcerning conflicting requirements and complexcoordination.
