Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and clear interpretation between Mandarin Chinese and English.
Interpret conversations, speeches, presentations, and other verbal communications in realtime.
Maintain confidentiality and neutrality while interpreting.
Assist with cultural and linguistic nuances to ensure effective communication.
Prepare for assignments by researching relevant topics and terminology.
Work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and other interpreters when necessary.
Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines for interpreters.

Requirements:

Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken).
Proven experience as an interpreter in various settings.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Excellent memory retention and concentration abilities.
Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
Professional demeanor and ability to handle challenging situations with composure.
Certification or training in interpreting (preferred but not required).
