    The Opportunity

    The Head of Marketing and Communications will head the responsibility for managing the companys PR and regional marketing initiatives, including proposing, developing and implementing PR and marketing plans. This role will act as the key stakeholder in developing and driving execution of the marketing and communications strategy for the UAE region with a strong focus on revenue and ROI Assists Departments with marketing collateral, this would include PR activities positioning CBRE and our Business Line Heads as thought leaders across the MENA commercial Real Estate landscape.

    Key Tasks

    Manages all marketing and delivery of activities such as advertising and promotion, events and conferences.

    Manages the organization's day to day advertising/marketing, media relations, creative editorial, social media and other communications services.

    May manage a marketing centre or group, including training, monitoring performance issues, promoting a team environment, provides work direction and promotes an environment of innovation and though leadership.

    Plans and organizes corporate promotional activities and shows CBRE products and services to internal and external clients, including overseeing and working closely with agencies.

    May manage the information flow that is communicated to various media channels. Provides information for press releases, feature stories, and by line articles.

    Oversees specific communications initiatives as needed.

    Interacts with the Managing Director and Head of Departments to form market strategies.

    Develops the marketing strategy for the business in line with company objectives, past performance and market forecasts.

    Adjusts marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback.

    Oversees the marketing budget and works within budget to develop cost effective marketing plans for each service line.

    Works closely with internal stakeholders to develop marketing concepts and design marketing materials. Creates a wide variety of templated and marketing materials in line with marketing plans.

    Provides cost estimates for internal stakeholders by researching costs and negotiating with vendors.

    Monitors and reports on effectiveness of marketing communications and prepares monthly and quarterly marketing reports for management.

    Our ideal person is someone who:

    Has acquired a four-year Bachelor's university/college degree and a minimum of 13 16 years demonstrated Marketing experience within reputable organisations

    A minimum of 5 years leadership experience managing small teams comprising a range of marketing professionals

    Proven Public Relations experience showing a trajectory of growth in brand exposure

    Strong media relations experience

    Has come from a background in agency where client pitches and business development are key to success

    Demonstrates fluency in English, verbal and written. Arabic would be advantageous.
