Job Summary:

The job holder will play a critical role in facilitating agile practices and principles within VUZ development teams. He/she will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of streaming services and products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of VUZ streaming platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Agile Facilitation:

• Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master for one or more agile development teams, providing guidance and coaching on Scrum principles and practices.
• Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure they are effective and focused on achieving sprint goals.
• Remove impediments and obstacles to the team's progress and ensure a smooth flow of work.

1. Team Empowerment:

• Empower and support the development team in self-organization and cross-functional collaboration.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, promoting transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
• Ensure that team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities within the Scrum framework.

1. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure alignment on project priorities and goals.
• Communicate project status, risks, and impediments to stakeholders and leadership as needed.
• Promote open communication and transparency within the organization.

1. Metrics and Reporting:

• Monitor and report on key agile metrics, such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, and team performance.
• Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and drive actionable changes.
• Help the team set and achieve sprint goals and release objectives.

1. Agile Best Practices:

• Stay current with industry best practices and agile methodologies.
• Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on agile principles and practices.
• Help the organization continuously improve its agile processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a fast-paced, digital media, or streaming environment.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and related tools.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Familiarity with streaming technologies and industry trends is a plus.
