- Fabricate, modify, and repairground support equipment according to engineering drawings,specifications, and instructions.
- Utilize avariety of tools, machinery, and equipment, such as welders,grinders, saws, and drills, to complete fabricationtasks.
- Perform welding, cutting, and brazingoperations to join metal components andstructures.
- Conduct mechanical assembly andinstallation of fabricated parts, ensuring proper fit andfunctionality.
- Inspect finished products forquality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments and repairs asneeded.
- Collaborate with engineering and designteams to provide input on product improvements andmodifications.
- Maintain a clean and organizedwork area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and bestpractices.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctionsand perform repairs to ensure optimalperformance.
- Document all fabrication andrepair work, including materials used and hours worked, forrecord-keeping purposes.
- Stay updated onindustry trends and advancements in GSE fabrication techniques andtechnologies.
