    Description
    • Providing support, information,and solutions on financial topics relevant to the regionpartners
    • Profitability review: using a deepunderstanding of the business' accounts to maximizeprofitability.
    • Supports financial planning andforecasting, reporting and other analysis for the Middle Eastregion. Manages the accuracy of the monthly management accounts,presents the accounts to the unit leader and extracts and explainsthe KPI's.
    • Consults and advisesmanagement on financial issues, business development, compliance,risk management.
    • Supporting Strategic MiddleEast Initiatives, e.g. around cost optimization/localization inKSA, integration and set up of newbusinesses
    • Manages, coaches, develops andevaluates the Middle East Finance team.Skills/Abilities
    • Commerciallyminded.
    • Willing to be hands on where necessaryin various areas of the accounts but also able to operateeffectively amongst consultants.
    • Strongorganization skills
    • Team player but can workindependently.
    • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
    • Strong accounting,analytical, numerical and structuralskills
    • Good working knowledge of MicrosoftExcel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Understanding ofModern Accounting software systems and workflow, ideallySAP
    • Self-driven, highly motivated team playerwho understands the implications of collaborating in a truly globalenvironment.
    • Ability to work independently anda willingness to look at the detail wherenecessary.
    • Ability to maintain highest degreeof precision even under significant time pressure. TechnicalSkills
    • Strong knowledge of regulatorycompliance and accounting standards o IFRS a must o Local GAAP(among ME countries) an advantage
    • Goodknowledge of audit and tax
    • Strong command ofboth oral and written English
    • Strong excel anddatabase skills required (Power BIdesirable)
    • Additional languages (Arabic) anadvantage Education
    • University degree inaccounting/ finance
    • Chartered accountantqualification Previous Experience
    • Minimum 5years of Big 4 and / or management accounting management experiencein a sizeable global organization in the Middle East region,including General Ledger and Subledger activities, budgeting andfinancial modeling.
    • Teammanagement.
    • Professional services industryexperience desirable, but notessential
    • Knowledge/experience of the localLebanese market preferred.
    • SAP R3 financialapplication experiencepreferred
