- Good understanding of theunderlying principles of transport planning and modelling,sufficient to carry out and support transport modelling, masterplanning and impact studies.
- Manages complexplanning studies, development applications andreviews.
- Reviews and processes complexcomprehensive plan amendments, rezoning, annexations, site plansetc.
- Conducts research and prepares statisticalreports on land use, physical, social and economicissues.
- Develops plans, studies and analyses onregional basis.
- It is desirable to haveexperience of using industry standard software such as CubeVoyager; PTV Visum; PTV Vissim, SIDRA, Synchro,HCS+.
- Performs field inspections to gather datarelevant to the development review process and/or to verify thatdevelopment projects comply with approvedplans.
- Ability to create, handle and manipulatelarge data sets with MS Excel.
- Workingknowledge of AutoCAD.
- Competent use of theEnglish language (reading, writing, and spoken) at a professionaland technical level.
- Good understanding ofProject Management techniques.
