The Al Rabeeh name has been synonymous throughout the city for high-quality education and pastoral care since 1979.

Our school is a member of British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) which provides excellent opportunities for inter-school competitions, tournaments, and CPD.


Applicants must be fluent English speakers, hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and have a minimum of 2 years' experience of teaching in schools that follow the National Curriculum of England.


Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Provide professional leadership and management for the English curriculum area, aligning with the national curriculum and school policies.
  • Ensure the delivery of a suitable curriculum for our students, while upholding the school's aims and curriculum policies.
  • Inspire colleagues with a vision and commitment to values, fostering highquality teaching, efficient resource use, and elevated learning standards for all students.
  • Execute a standard teacher's duties through an appropriate teaching program.
  • Foster the professional growth of educators and enhance overall teaching practices.
  • Oversee students' progress and development in Maths, serving as a form tutor.
  • Possess strong classroom management skills, expertise in Maths, and the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on 21stcentury learning, IT integration, and support for EAL students.
  • Experience in teaching 'A' levels
  • The capacity to support creative learning and to focus on developing 21stcentury learning environments and innovation skills
  • Confidence in using IT to motivate and extend student's learning experiences
  • Experience in using data from internal assessments and standardised tests and external assessments to track student progress
  • Experience in teaching EAL students is essential
