Description

Thedefaultgoods is seeking a Quality Assurance intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to ensure the quality of our brand's products.

The internship will provide you with a unique, challenging and learning experience for a period of three months, during which you will have the opportunity to quality check and evaluate our products.

Responsibilities:

Product Inspections:

Conduct inspections of products to ensure that they meet quality standards, and accordingly report any defects to the appropriate team for resolution.

Quality Metrics Tracking:

Assist in tracking and analyzing metrics relevant to the retail environment, such as customer complaints, product returns and warranty claims.

Monitor trends and patterns in these metrics to identify areas for improvement to address them effectively.

Product Testing:

Assist in performing product testing for new product arrivals to validate their quality and safety standards before the products go into inventory.

Customer Service Evaluation:
Participate in evaluating customer service interactions and analyze their feedback both through direct communication and online channels.

Process Documentation:

Assist in documenting quality control processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and clarity for future reference.

Continuous Improvement:
Proactively suggest process improvements and innovative ideas to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

Enrolled/Graduated from a relevant degree (Supply Chain management, Business Administration, Quality Management etc)

Strong attention to detail:
The ability to identify any discrepancies or defects

Problem solving & Analytical skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams

Please note that this is an unpaid internship, but we will provide valuable hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.
