- Analyzetest data and provide accurate reports. Make recommendations on anyanomalies as to the reason/corrective action.
- Develop,design, build, and validate specialized Dyne ancillary equipment tosupport specialized testrequirements.
- Developand create complex CAN protocol to facilitate communication withdyne control/data acquisition, and validateperformance.
- Developand build intricate test profiles for Dyne Control/Data Acquisitionandimplementation.
- Collaboratewith Application Engineering to design by drawing, measuring,cutting, and welding any specialty part, test rig, or componentrequired.
- Setup and build engines including assembly anddisassembly.
- Evaluatecritical situations in the lab and make decisions to best resolveissues.
- Testand diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or electronicproblems with engines; recommend and developresolutions
- Preparequality reports, track, and maintain answers for reports
- Createand implement innovative ideas that will result in incremental ordramatic improvement; commitment to continualimprovement
- Managespecial projects asassigned
- Driveforklift in a safe manner, ensuring loads are stable andsecure

- Strongcommand of the English language, both written and verbal and beable to comprehend a variety of instructions, both oral andwritten

TheTest Technician interacts with other engineering groups to define,document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for diesel and gasengines. All work follows generally prescribed routines, withsupervision being readilyavailable.Duties andResponsibilities
