Description

One of our clients in Dubai, a trading firm that trades ore, ferrous alloys, carbon goods, cored wire, and base metals worldwide, is searching for a warehouse management executive to handle the daily warehouse operations.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience required in the same trading industry.
Highly knowledgeable in logistics and transportation operations
Highly knowledgeable with sales/financial reports, studies, and data.
Great communication, presentation, and management skills.
Effective track records with handling projects in a fastpaced environment
Ensures that all set KPIs per customer are met and overviews clear and comprehensive records.
Overviews the inventory records and location for cost accounting to ensure adherence to the warehouse and distribution procedures are executed; should implement best storage practices for the optimum utilization of existing space.
Liaises with internal customs department to ensure custom clearance procedures are compiled and legal requirements are met; ensures all JAFZA requirements and relevant information are update and available for the stock holding at any point of time.
Should implement Lean strategies at workplace and engage in Continuous Improvement Projects, which has outcomes as cost reduction, quality improvement, decreased failure rates, lead time reduction etc; should have keen eye for identifying wastes and eliminating the same.
12 months rolling shipments plan based on sales forecast, DOI targets, portfolio expansion plan, and product lead times.
Preparing monthly weekly reports
