Job Summary:


As a Headwaiter you are responsible to provide professional service to our Guests, ensuring their restaurant visit will become a memorable dining experience.


General Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work in close cooperation with the Kitchen and Stewarding as well as the Outlet Cashiers to ensure a smooth running operation.
  • Conduct regular training sessions with the assigned team in line with the departmental SOP's.
  • Monitor duty schedules for the respective team.
  • Ensure the proper appearance and grooming of assigned Employees.
  • Work towards the timely set up of the assigned Food & Beverage outlet, according to the meal settings and in line with the opening hours.
  • Handle the welcome of arriving Guests and their seating through the Hostess and take over, if she is not available.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with the Outlet patrons to ensure their wellbeing.
  • Familiar with the Outlet's menu, promotional activities and other relevant issues concerning the outlet and the Hotel.
  • Contribute to meet and maximize the monthly revenue budget for the respective outlet.
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
  • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.


Additional to the above-mentioned requirements an Employee will at times be expected to perform tasks and duties outside of his/her scope of work as necessitated by work demand.

Hostess Job Summary:


As a Hostess you are responsible to receive and give a warm welcome to our Guests, providing an efficient and courteous approach at all times.


General Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm and engaging service
  • Welcome Guests to the assigned outlet, receive and conduct Guests to tables, ensure that they are attended to and be available for them at all times as a point of contact
  • Take outlet reservations, handle the reservation book and answer the telephone in an impeccable manner
  • Set up the outlet prior to the business hours along with the service team
  • Coordinate with the service team in making necessary arrangements according to floor plan for reservations or blocking off reserved tables
  • Observe the cleanliness and maintenance of the outlet and the entrance area
  • Assure the wellbeing of all Guests by maintaining a close, friendly, yet discrete contact
  • Be aware of all menus and ongoing promotions in the outlet by heart in order to recommend if a Guest requests
  • Contribute in setting up the outlets database
  • Reassure the Guests' satisfaction upon their departure
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
  • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures

Captain Job Summary:


As a Captain you are responsible to provide professional and customer focused service to our Guests, ensuring their stay will become a memorable experience.


General Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Perform all necessary tasks to service Food & Beverage according to the standard of performance manual of the Hotel
  • Acquire in depth knowledge of the Food & Beverage menu of the assigned Outlet in order to assist and provide advice to Guests
  • Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints and queries satisfactorily
  • Ensure the Outlet is setup for service and supervise for a smooth operation
  • Direct and supervise the service team to ensure that all duties are performed as per standards
  • Ensure that all Employees have received adequate training to perform their duties
  • Ensure proper organization, planning and control of supplies and maintain concise record of all beverage stock in order to ensure that the required is available
  • Ensure minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage
  • Actively use up selling techniques bye exceeding Guest expectations and to increase revenue
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
  • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
