PositionOverview

Theprimary objective for the Senior Accountant will be to performtimely and accurate journal entries, analytics, and accountreconciliations used in the closing and reporting
JobFunctions

• Preparation and review of accurate and timely complexgeneral ledger account reconciliations and the posting of theresulting journal
  
• Monitor monthly and identify, research,and reconcile account variances by conducting a detailed analysiswith a focus on process
  
• Maintain the overall accuracy andintegrity of the general ledger records and
  
• Participate in activities related to themonth-end closing process, including journal entries, balance sheetreconciliations, variance explanations, and financial
  
• Ensure compliance with accountingpolicies, reporting deadlines, and transactions are performedwithin a sound internal control
  
• Prepare and review schedules forinternal/external auditors in connection with
  
• Provide management with information fordecision making by writing complex queries and producing
  
• Establish and maintain effectiverelationships by working cross-functionally with other disciplinesthroughout the company providing excellent customer service tointernal and external
  
• Work cross-functionally with otherdepartments to increase financial reporting

Requirements

• BS/BA inAccounting
  
• CPA6+ years of professional accounting experience required with aminimum of 2 years in public accounting
  
• Experience in a public company setting andpreparing information to support public filings strongly
  
• Continuous improvement mindset anddemonstrated process
  
• Proven problem solving and communicationExtraordinary attention to
  
• Exceptional organizational, analytical,and problem-solving
  
• Knowledge and Other DesiredQualifications:
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy iscritical
  
• Ability to prioritize andmulti-task
  
• Experience with Sage X3 a plus
  
• Computer skills required include workingknowledge of email and Microsoft software programs, especiallyExcel
  
• Ability to stay calm and professionalunder pressure and tight deadlines
