- Work with senior team members to develop and deliver Sustainability and Net Zero strategies across projects and programmes and throughout the asset lifecycle
- Develop internal relationships with infrastructure, real estate and natural resources sectors, liaising with Project Managers and Commission Leads on projects
- Embedding Sustainability principles into all aspects of project delivery
- Deliver work in line with client requirements and agreed proposal deliverables
- Work with Commission Leads and Sustainability Subject Matter Experts to write technical solutions to meet client requirements
- Support in effective and efficient project delivery and development of technical capabilities
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Professionally qualified member of a recognised institution
- Sustainability certification accreditation desirable
- Understanding of sustainability principles as applied in the build environment is essential, including the areas of energy and carbon (Net Zero Emissions), water, waste, circular economy, and biodiversity
- Experience of working in real estate and infrastructure (masterplan)
- Awareness of environmental legislation and sustainability issues in region
- Understanding of net zero principles, including carbon assessment, monitoring and reporting
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams on projects
- Experience of working throughout the lifecycle of projects
- Understanding of sustainability accreditation methods such as LEED, Estidama or WELL would be an advantage
- Awareness of global, national and regional issues, including the Climate and Biodiversity Emergency and Net Zero Emissions
- High quality service delivery, communications and ways of working with others
- Excellent communication including writing and presentation skills
