Overview:As a Project Engineer specializing in Steel Metal Fabrication withover 6 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role inoverseeing and managing various aspects of steel fabricationprojects from inception to completion. Your expertise will becrucial in ensuring the successful execution of projects withinspecified timelines, budgets, and qualitystandards.

Responsibilities:

1. ProjectPlanning andCoordination:
   • Developand execute project plans, considering client requirements, budgetconstraints, and project timelines.
   • Coordinatewith internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensureseamless projectexecution.
2. Designand Engineering:
   • Reviewand interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and clientrequirements.
   • Collaborate with design teams tooptimize fabrication processes and ensure compliance with industrystandards.
3. MaterialProcurement and QualityAssurance:
   • Source andprocure materials, ensuring compliance with project specificationsand quality standards.
   • Implement qualityassurance processes to guarantee the fabrication of high-qualitysteelcomponents.
4. BudgetManagement:
   • Preparecost estimates and budgets forprojects.
   • Monitor project expenses andimplement cost-control measures to ensure financial objectives aremet.
5. TimelineManagement:
   • Develop andmaintain project schedules, ensuring adherence totimelines.
   • Identify and address potentialdelays, implementing strategies to keep the project ontrack.
6. CommunicationandCollaboration:
   • Fostereffective communication with clients, internal teams, and externalstakeholders.
   • Provide regular project updatesand address any concerns or issues that may arise during thefabricationprocess.
7. Healthand SafetyCompliance:
   • Enforcestrict adherence to health and safety protocols in the fabricationenvironment.
   • Implement and oversee safetytraining programs for projectpersonnel.
8. Documentationand Reporting:
   • Maintaincomprehensive project documentation, including progress reports,change orders, and project closeoutdocumentation.
   • Generate regular reports forproject stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and potentialrisks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor'sdegree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a relatedfield.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in steelmetal fabrication projects.
• Proficient in CADsoftware and other relevant engineeringtools.
• Strong project management skills with atrack record of successful projectdelivery.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge ofindustry standards, codes, andregulations.
