    • Proven experience as a Sommelierin a fine dining restaurant, preferably with experience in Japanesecuisine.
    • Extensive knowledge of internationalwines, sake, and other beverages, as well as wine regions,varietals, and production methods.
    • Strongpalate and ability to discern flavors and aromas in wines andbeverages.
    • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently withguests.
    • Detail-oriented with strongorganizational and multitaskingabilities.
    • Certification from a recognizedsommelier program preferred (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine& Spirit Education Trust).
    • Fluent inEnglish; proficiency in Japanese language is aplus.
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends, andholidays as required.
