- Proven experience as a Sommelierin a fine dining restaurant, preferably with experience in Japanesecuisine.
- Extensive knowledge of internationalwines, sake, and other beverages, as well as wine regions,varietals, and production methods.
- Strongpalate and ability to discern flavors and aromas in wines andbeverages.
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently withguests.
- Detail-oriented with strongorganizational and multitaskingabilities.
- Certification from a recognizedsommelier program preferred (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine& Spirit Education Trust).
- Fluent inEnglish; proficiency in Japanese language is aplus.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, andholidays as required.
