SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
The Admissions Counsellor should be able to evaluate transcripts, give decisions on critical cases, and admit students to appropriate academic programs.
Establish and administer the recruitment and admissions programs, and visit schools or colleges to make presentations to groups and individuals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in recruitment events, open houses, school fairs, information sessions, exhibitions, school visits, and offcampus events. Interact with groups and individual students and meets with school officials to develop partnerships and recruit students for AU programs. Advice Head of the unit on recruitmentrelated initiatives that can enhance the enrollment and also assist in planning for future strategies;
- Prepares reports and proposals and responds to inquiries from students and external agencies relating to admissions;
- Develops innovative communication strategies, recruitment strategies, and enrollment plans in coordination with senior management to attract and enroll more students;
- Keep all the print and nonprint materials related to admission criteria, policies, and procedures up to date, in line with Ministry updates;
- Updates and designs offer letters, conditional letters, and other admissionrelated documents. Prepare admission policy for all the relevant offices, website updates, and brochures for every program;
- Interacts and communicates with prospective leads effectively and update them on recruitmentrelated events like open days, scholarships, etc.
- Other admissionrelated duties as assigned by the head of the unit.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 34 years of experience in the same field or a similar nature position.
- Cross cultural awareness
- Valid UAE driving license
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- English Fluency
- Arabic Language fluency
- Excellent presentation & Communications skills
- Excellent IT and wordprocessing skills
- Ability to record data accurately and undertake data processing.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
