Public Relations Officer (PRO)


Job Description:
-


We are looking for a Public Relations (PRO) Officer to organize and use a wide range of media to build and sustain a good image for a company, organization or brand through planned publicity campaigns and PRO activity.

We expect you to have a creative mind and excellent communication skills. If you are also confident in your public speaking and project management abilities, we'd like to meet you.


Duties and responsibilities (PRO)

  • To proactively manage the timely renewal of employment visas and labor permits.
  • Process all online procedures for governmental websites.
  • Manage the visa checklist as and when the rules on visa/labor change and provide guidance to the People team and colleagues accordingly.
  • To maintain a database of all passports and residence visas by scanning all documents and directly updating the government database and HRIS when details change and ensuring all colleagues receive at least 3 months' notice of passport and visa expiry.

Skills and relevant work experience : -

  • Assist employees in renewing visas for immediate dependents.
  • Assist all sponsored staff (and dependents where applicable) with the medical appointment process in order for the visa process to run smoothly.
  • To renew all companyrelated licenses prior to the expiry date.
  • Send out notifications on documentation required to renew trade licenses and complete surveys etc. required by the government bodies at the time of license renewals.
  • Submit detailed reports to the People Director and Finance Department related to visa expenses.
  • Assist in company errands when required.
  • Document all work processes and procedures thoroughly and accurately.
  • Keep company records and certified stamps in a safe and controlled environment.
  • Proven experience in government relations.
  • Knowledge and experience of the governmental portal system.

Qualifications :
-


  • Inter Level or bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both in Arabic and English.
  • Strong background in UAE Labor Law.
  • Proficient typing skills in English and Arabic.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively, particularly with local government bodies.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills.
