Job Title: Sr. Desktop SupportEngineer
Job Type: Full-time
Location: IndiaPune
Role reports to: Lead.
Work Hours: 9hours.
Main Duties andResponsibilities:
Oversee and updateassigned support service requests.
Handle dailytechnical support activities on desktop support, data network andserver management. Grow clients and communicate to Account Managerby determining new opportunities.
Setup desktopcomputers and peripherals and test network connections.
Install and test desktop software applications and internetbrowsers.
Test computers to ensure proper functioning ofcomputer systems.
Train end users on usage of computerhardware and software.
Develop and manage effectiveprofessional working relationships with contractor personnel,co-workers and clients.
Adhere to policies as percorporate manuals and directives.
Extend computersupport for systems software and hardware.
Setupcomputers and install software for various applications andprograms.
Interact with staff on desktop problems andtheir resolution.
Network and connect computers withinorganization to better communication.
- Order or buycomputer systems and liaise with purchase and supplies department.
- Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers andresolve associated problems.
Skills andExperience:
#Qualifications:
--B.E./ B.Tech
--Graduates/Postgraduates from IT background.
# Experience:
--1-4 yrs.
# Skills:
--Goodknowledge in IT hardware peripherals.
-- Strong teamworkskills.
--Knowledge on Assets Managementapplications.
