    Location:Otis L.L.C, 37th floor, The One Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab EmiratesJr. Project Engineer – Installation plays a key role in supporting the execution of elevator installation projects while ensuring compliance with Otis standards, safety policies, timelines, and customer expectations. The role requires hands-on experience in elevator/lift installation, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage site-level activities efficiently.##
    Key Responsibilities###
    1. Project Execution & Site Management Assist in planning, organizing, and executing installation activities for elevators as per Otis procedures and project timelines.
    • Supervise installation teams and subcontractors to ensure safe and high-quality execution at the site.
    • Review installation drawings, technical documents, and material requirements prior to commencement of work.
    • Monitor daily site progress and prepare regular progress reports for the Project Manager.###
      2. Quality & Safety Compliance Implement Otis safety standards and ensure all site personnel follow safety regulations.
    • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments.
    • Carry out quality checks during various stages of installation to ensure adherence to Otis quality protocols.###
      3. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, logistics, and quality to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Liaise with customers, consultants, and main contractors regarding site readiness, technical issues, and progress updates.
    • Attend project meetings and provide accurate technical inputs when required.###
      4. Documentation & Reporting Maintain site installation documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and safety records.
    • Support the handover process by ensuring all installation activities are completed, tested, and certified as required.
    • Assist in resolving site-based technical issues and escalating complex issues to senior engineers or project managers.##
      Qualifications & Experience Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
    • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in elevator/lift installation, preferably with a leading elevator company.
    • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical installation practices related to vertical transportation systems.
    • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety practices, and local regulations.##
      Skills & Competencies Strong technical and analytical skills.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation schematics.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills for site coordination.
    • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
    • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, reporting tools).
    • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.##
      Work Environment Primarily site-based role requiring daily presence at project sites.
    • Occasional travel between multiple installation sites as required.
