Female Waiter (Arabic-speaking, Alcohol Sales) at Maset Al Yakout Restaurant

Maset Al Yakout Restaurant is currently seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Female Waiter who is fluent in Arabic and comfortable with selling alcohol.

Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to promote our beverage offerings will contribute to our restaurant's success.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests in Arabic, escorting them to their tables, and presenting menus that include alcoholic beverages.
• Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, paying special attention to their preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Provide detailed information about our menu items, including alcoholic beverages, their ingredients, and recommended pairings.
• Actively promote and sell our selection of alcoholic beverages, making appropriate recommendations based on guest preferences and menu choices.
• Ensure that all tables are properly set with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, promptly clearing tables and preparing them for the next guests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders, ensuring any special requests or modifications are communicated effectively.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and courteously, resolving issues promptly and escalating them to the supervisor or manager, if necessary.
• Process guest payments accurately, utilizing cash registers or POS systems, including handling transactions involving alcoholic beverages responsibly and in compliance with legal requirements.
• Adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, following all restaurant policies and regulations.
• Stay updated on our current menu offerings, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter or in a customer service role is essential, with a strong understanding of alcohol sales and responsible serving practices.
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) with a good command of English to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage items, including alcoholic beverages, their characteristics, and responsible consumption practices.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to assist colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
