Description
Should have at least 4 years of experienced as MEP Draughtsman in FITOUT company.

  • Prepare detailed and accurate MEP (Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical/FF&FA System/Plumbing) drawings using CAD & any software, adhering to project specifications and standards.
  • Electrical load calculations and others
  • Preparation of shop/detail drawings and as built drawings
  • Preparation of MEP coordination drawings and load Schedules
  • Proficiency in using MEP drafting software (AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Use computeraided design software to create 2D technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, components, and terminology
  • Previous experience in drafting for MEP projects within the contracting sector
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Collaborate with Supervisor/Engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into comprehensive technical drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Generate and update documentation, including equipment schedules, material lists, and construction details.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate MEP systems within the overall project design.
  • Conduct field visits as necessary to verify existing conditions and gather relevant data for drafting purposes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Draughtsman Requirements

  • Five years of minimum experience with AutoCAD software and experience in Construction/Fit out company.
  • Maths skills and attention to detail
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering.

Draughtsman Qualifications

  • The education and qualifications for a Draughtsman job description might include the following:
  • A National Diploma, Associate's Degree/Civil Engineer
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Ability to commute/relocate:
