Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Hostess at Delano Dubai, you will be the gracious first point of contact, embodying the elegance, precision, and warm hospitality inspired by Japanese dining traditions. You will create a refined and memorable first impression, welcoming guests with poise, attentiveness, and genuine care. With a strong focus on detail and service excellence, you will ensure every guest feels respected, comfortable, and immersed in a seamless luxury dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Reception: Welcome guests with polished professionalism and the subtle grace reflective of Japanese hospitality. Escort guests to their tables while providing a smooth and personalized introduction to the dining experience.

• Table Management: Efficiently manage reservations and seating arrangements, optimizing table turnover while maintaining a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

• Communication: Collaborate closely with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service, providing timely updates on guest preferences and needs.

• Guest Engagement: Interact attentively with guests, responding to inquiries and special occasions with courtesy and cultural sensitivity. Anticipate guest needs to elevate the overall dining experience

• Ambiance Maintenance: Ensure the reception and dining areas reflect the minimalist sophistication and meticulous presentation aligned with both Delano's luxury standards and Japanese aesthetic principles.

• Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing special events, ensuring all details are carefully managed to deliver a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Luxury Experience: You have a proven track record in a luxury hospitality environment - luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, or exclusive beach club, showcasing your ability to deliver sophisticated and discreet service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Exceptional Skills: Your communication and interpersonal skills are exemplary, allowing you to engage with guests in a refined manner that enhances their experience.
• Operational Knowledge: You're proficient in luxury hotel operations and management software, with a solid understanding of sophisticated service protocols that ensure smooth operations.
• Educational Background: A relevant educational qualification, such as a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience, is preferred, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
