About the Role


Lockheed Martin is looking for ambitious and hardworking interns to work on a number of exciting projects at our Center for Innovation and Security Solutions in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi.- various internship projects in addition to conducting industrial research.

The intern will report to the manager of the

  • Lockheed Martin Center for Innovation & Security Solutions (CISS) but will also take tasking directions from
  • Lockheed Martin mentors.
  • The internship session is anticipated to start October 2023 and run for a minimum of 10 weeks, which can be extended if you perform well

Required skills, qualifications and experience

Basic Qualifications:


  • Enrolled in a University in the UAE (Seniors or recently graduated).
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Business Analysis, Business Development, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or other
- related majors.

  • GPA Higher than or equal to 3.0.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering technical processes (requirements analysis, testing and
- verification models, behavioral models, verification and validation models, etc.)

  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with engineering management processes and product development (risk analysis, work breakdown
- structure, trade-off analysis, product lifecycle, etc.)

  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Experience in various forms of testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the
- best output.

  • Familiarity with Technology Readiness Level (TRL) Documents.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics.

Desired skills:


  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills.
  • Excellent market analysis skills.
  • Writing professional software requirements and testing documents.
  • Excellent in using the Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) platform.
  • Highly flexible and interested in the defense industry.
  • Excellent notetaking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • IELTS score of 7.0 and above. (and/or other equivalent tests)
