Job description
The IT Support is responsible to handle the daily activities of the IT Infrastructure/Network support for the group.
This includes but is not limited to remote support, central system maintenance, software and hardware update, and server maintenance, etc.
JOB CONTEXT & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Handle all network malfunctions and other operational difficulties by implementing troubleshooting procedures.
- Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures.
- Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
- Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability.
- Ensure compliance related to IT Assets Management
- Ensure compliance toward Helpdesk system SLAs
- Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues reported to the Service Desk.
- Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions. Discuss escalated issues with IT Administrator to find a proper solution.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
JOB PREREQUISITES/ SKILLS
- Arabic and English language ability required.
- Advanced Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft office, Java and other programming systems.
- Driven and can work extended hours.
Pay:
AED3, AED3,500.00 per month
