The International Affairs Department is an essential partof the Emirates Groups management team. The department helps theGroup to navigate the complex global environment in which weoperate and to achieve our business goals. The team is responsiblefor managing relationships with governments internationalorganizations and other stakeholders around the world.
    About therole
    As the International and Government Affairs Manager youwill develop implement and manage international and governmentaffairs activities and positions on a global level as they relateto the operations of Emirates. The International and GovernmentAffairs Manager will initiate and support departmental stakeholderengagement and the development and execution of messaging. You willprepare comprehensive analysis case studies presentations articlespolicy documents consultation responses and correspondence topromote Emirates international and government affairs interests.
    What you will do
    • Preparehighquality and timely documents for both internal and externalpurposes including data analysis meeting files business casesreports talking points briefs submissions letters publicationspresentations campaigns and articles on international andgovernment affairs to support departmental objectives.
    • Monitor source and analyse intelligence and newsregarding political industry and regulatory developments thatimpact on Emirates commercial and market access interests.
    • Develop Emirates policy positions and prepareinstructive fact and databased arguments commentary and content foradvocacy documents.
    • Organise and participatein stakeholder meetings/visits in Dubai and abroad and produceappropriate materials for them.
    • Managedepartmental projects initiatives and administrative requirementsincluding event and hospitality management publication of publicaffairs materials and economic impact studies.
    • Provide support to Emirates environmental sustainabilityprogramme.
    • Identify build and maintainproductive internal and external relationships to achieve businessoutcomes including providing instructions to retained publicaffairs and consultancies and developmental support to relevantcolleagues in the department.

    Qualifications & Experience: This job might be foryou if you have:
    • Bachelors degree in a subjectrelated to international affairs communications government orpolitical affairs.
    • 8 years experience in agovernment relations ministerial office public affairs or airlineenvironment
    • Strong writing skills ability toproduce highlevel reports and research.
    • Demonstrable capability in the field of statisticsmodelling and data analysis ability to analyse large volumes ofdata.
    • Expert in quantitative and qualitativeresearch
    • Strong analytical and criticalthinking skills
    • Demonstrable influencingskills with internal and external stakeholders
