Description

• Provide day to day support toProject Manager in various Project Management activities. Liaisewith PMT team with client and act as a focal point for ProjectManagement issues.
• Identify and resolveProject's technical issues, coordinate with engineeringconsultant, and establish the bridge between Project team, externalsuppliers, subcontractors and client / PMT focalpersonnel.
• Manage and coordinate project dailyactivities.
• Assists in preparation, updating& implementation of Project Execution Plan(PEP).
• Attends weekly, monthly, and otherprogress review meetings (internal as well as with client) andassists in preparation of Minutes of Meeting. Follow up on MOM andincorporate agreed comments with client and coordinate to close outongoing concerns raised by client during the reviewmeetings.
• Coordinate to provide support tosubcontractors in technical and contractual issues by facilitatingthem to meet and resolve key issues face toface.
• Ensure project execution as per scheduleand in accordance with contractual terms and client technicalprocedures.
• Coordination with all projectmanagement team and team leaders for planning, scheduling andexecution of Work for Engineering, Procurement, Construction& Commissioning to meet overall projectobjectives.
• Coordinate with Engineeringconsultant to ensure that design basis is clearly communicatedwithin the teams and relevant MR's are timely issued toProcurement Department. Resolve key issues between Engineering,Procurement to for timely issuance of Purchase Orders for long leadand critical purchases for Project.
• Providesupport to Project Director in implementation of Project proceduresand gathers list of deliverables.
• Participatein preparation of high-level scope of work for Subcontracts andfacilitate to ensure that there is no scopecreep.
• Participate in design reviews, andrelated project studies e.g. (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, SIMOPS 3D DesignModel Reviews etc.).
• Ensure that technical,schedule, risk, commercial and other adequate evaluations of theProject are performed with the participation of qualified personnelduring the sessions (internal and external, if required), that allresulting actions are pursued and resolved, and documents areupdated.
• Explore and develop new tools andmanagement techniques for successfully delivery ofProject.
• Ensure Project mobilizations andresource requirements are in accordance with Project mobilizationrequirements.
• Ensure team members have a clearunderstanding of the overall strategy and ongoing priorities of theProject.
• Support project teams in variationclaims, EOT and support in preparation of contractualposition.
• Support Project Contracts, Cost& Subcontracts Team in evaluation and identifying anydesign deviations / variation arising fromSubcontractors.
• Coordinate with Engineeringconsultant and provide support to project construction for timelyissuance of IFC drawings for start of construction activities andfacilitate to resolve key Engineering issues raised byconstruction.
• Identify restraints forConstruction and facilitate Construction team in close out ofobstacles in execution of Works.
• Coordinatewith Procurement to identify and ensure timely delivery of materialat site and facilitate any obstacles and key issues betweensuppliers / client / Engineering consultant /Procurement.
• Ensure Project milestones are ontrack and coordinate with Project Control to identify potentialproblems which will delay achieving Projectmilestones.
• Provide support to commissioning intimely start of commissioning activities and facilitate them toresolve key issues in smooth start up commissioningactivities.
