Description
We are looking for a steward to assists in keeping the kitchen and other parts of the restaurant if required, clean and sanitized, assists in cleaning dishes and tends to team needs.
Duties:
Cleaning and sanitizing all meal preparation areas as well as kitchen walls, stoves, sinks, ovens, and grills.
- Sweeping and mopping all kitchen areas during shifts and at the end of shifts.
- Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensuring that food mixers, cookers, and other cooking equipment are in good working order.
- Receiving and unpacking all deliveries.
- Emptying, relining, and washing garbage cans as required.
- Ensuring that refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas are clean and wellorganized.
- Assisting the Chef with basic food preparation, which includes washing, peeling, and cutting meal ingredients as per the Chef's instructions.
Criteria:
Proven experience assisting in commercial kitchen environments.
- Working knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
- Physically fit with ability to lift weight up to 50 kg
- Ability to be flexible and work in extended periods around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to work as part of a highenergy, efficient team in a fastpaced environment.
Salary:
AED2,000.00 per month
