Description

School of Modern Skills (SMS), is currently recruiting for Math Instructional Lead position.

Math Instructional Lead personnel will be 'Middle Level Leader' and have 75% of teaching responsibilities and 25% of leadership responsibilities.

The leadership responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Collaborate with the SLT to develop and implement instructional strategies that align with the school's mission and academic goals.
Provide ongoing support and professional development to teachers to improve their instruction practices and student learning outcomes.
Support the development of a positive and engaging learning environment that supports the academic and socialemotional growth of students.
Collaborate with the assessment and data team to analyze student data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address those areas.
Collaborate with teachers and administrators to design and implement assessment practices for Math that accurately measure student learning and growth.
Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers on instructional practices and student engagement.
Model effective instructional practices and support teachers in implementing those practices.
Facilitate meetings with teachers to discuss instructional strategies and curriculum development.
Collaborate with other instructional leads to share best practices and improve instructional practices across the school
Bachelor's degree in Math, Master's degree preferred;
Teaching qualifications are mandatory for the role;
Five (5) years' teaching experience in an American Curriculum school, with experience in instructional leadership or Head of Math position for at least two (2) years;
Strong knowledge of American Curriculum standards and instructional practices;
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
Ability to analyze data and develop action plans to address areas of improvement;
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills;
Strong communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus.
