    JobSummary: The BusinessDevelopment Manager will play a crucial role in identifying andsecuring business opportunities within the civil infrastructuresector particularly in road services and power distributionprojects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record indeveloping and implementing effective business strategiescultivating relationships with key stakeholders and driving revenuegrowth.

    Responsibilities:

    1. MarketAnalysis:
    • Conductthorough market research to identify potential clients competitorsand markettrends.
    • Analyzeindustry developments and regulatory changes that may impact civilinfrastructureprojects.
  • BusinessStrategy:
    • Developand implement strategic business plans to expand the companyspresence in road construction and power distributionprojects.
    • Identifyand prioritize target clients and projects to achieve businessobjectives.
  • ClientRelationshipManagement:
    • Buildand maintain strong relationships with existing clients and keystakeholders.
    • Activelyseek new clients through networking cold calling and other businessdevelopmentstrategies.
  • ProposalDevelopment:
    • Collaboratewith the technical and project management teams to createcompelling and competitive projectproposals.
    • Ensurethat proposals align with client needs and industrystandards.
  • ContractNegotiation:
    • Leadnegotiations with clients to secure favorable contract terms andconditions.
    • Workclosely with legal and finance teams to finalizecontracts.
  • ProjectCoordination:
    • Liaisebetween clients and internal project teams to ensure smooth projectinitiation andexecution.
    • Monitorproject progress and address any clientconcerns.
  • BudgetManagement:
    • Developand manage budgets for business developmentactivities.
    • Trackand report on key performance indicators related to businessdevelopment.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Business Civil Engineering or a related field. Mastersdegree is aplus.
    • Provenexperience in business development within the civil infrastructuresector with a focus on road construction and powerdistribution.
    • Strongunderstanding of the civil engineering and constructionindustry.
    • Excellentcommunication and interpersonalskills.
    • Abilityto build and maintain effective relationships with clients andinternalteams.
    • Proventrack record of meeting and exceeding business developmenttargets.
    • Knowledgeof relevant regulations and standards in the civil infrastructuresector.
