Your Responsibilities WillInclude

• Reviewing the current and potentialsupply chains, with your knowledge of the local supply chain marketstatus.
• Running and managing the procurementprocess through development of the procurement strategies with workstream leads, assisting and compiling initial long and short listsof local vendors / suppliers and being the focal point for allmatters relating to the acquisition of services for theproject.
• With your understanding of procurementconcepts, standards and best practices as applied in theengineering and construction industry, you will be deliveringprocesses and building relationships with suppliers,subcontractors, clients and the extended projectteam.
• Providing preliminary risk assessmentrelated to the procurement activities assumed by the proposed primecontract and providing the necessary written, graphic, andpricing/cost information in support of the proposalprocess.
• Maintaining the performance metrics tomeasure the performance of the programme with regard to costsavings, on time performance and quality of goods and services,while assisting in the resolution of purchase order and disputes asnecessary.
• You will be in a central role,participating in the development of programme and project executionplans, where your local procurement expertise isrequired.
