Key Responsibilities:


Procurement Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's goals and budgetary requirements.
Analyze procurement needs across various departments and facilities to anticipate future demands and maintain adequate stock level


Vendor Management:
Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with vendors to secure favorable pricing and service levels.


Purchase Order Processing:


Cost Optimization:
Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost-effective procurement practices without compromising quality or service.
Conduct regular market research to stay updated on pricing trends and market conditions.


Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Address and resolve any supplier-related issues or disputes in a professional manner.


Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.


Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid excess or shortages of essential items.
Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and minimize carrying costs.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with various departments, such as operations, finance, and maintenance, to understand their procurement needs and provide necessary support.


Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all procured goods and services meet the required quality standards.
Address any quality issues and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.


Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function and contribute to enhancing overall organizational efficiency.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role within the facility management industry is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
