    MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE


To manage the commercial team activities by planning and developing market segmentation for Cargo Department, agreeing and implementing sales objectives and marketing strategies, optimising revenues in accordance with the current Sales and Marketing Plan and Corporate Long-Term Plan whilst maintaining and enhancing Customer loyalty.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages all aspects of sales worldwide, including devising and implementing short to long term sales strategies, forecasting and monitoring sales and establishing, developing, and managing partnerships to ensure that awareness of our products reaches the customer effectively.
  • Recommends, implements, and effectively controls local market pricing to achieve territory objectives and contribute towards systemwide route, point of sale revenue and yield objectives.
  • Continuously monitors market trends and competitor activities, analyses cargo related statistical information and provides feedback/recommend sales policies to cargo corporate management via periodic reports/meetings to facilitate planning and effective implementation of short
- and long-term marketing objectives and strategies

  • Directs and manages the activities of the sales team.,
  • Researches, plans and develops the station cargo services in order to produce the annual sales and marketing plans with detailed strategies and time frames to assist cargo corporate management in the development and enhancement of section's distribution logistics and supply chain management.
  • Implements Block Space Agreement (BSA) and Permanent Booking (PB) by setting targets for internal and external clients ensuring optimum mileage on the set revenue streams.
  • Manages service recoveries for agents and shippers on a timely basis, ensuring all complaints are handled promptly and effectively
  • Develops and drives flydubai cargo charter with focus on acquiring global charter business and directly to prominent relief and aid organizations.
  • Researches and identifies innovative methods to grow the relief charter business by exploring markets, products, and trade flows to secure new business streams and maximise profitability and revenue optimisation.
  • Directs the development of UAE & Worldwide key accounts through analysis and identification of the strategic importance and potential of such customers to facilitate traffic mix and network optimization.
  • Directs and leads business relationships with integrators to promote flydubai cargo product, solutions portfolio and bolster profitable business opportunities.
  • Investigates and identifies key decision makers in selected vertical industries and fosters relationships with potential clients especially Integrators and Global Accounts who have a presence in the UAE Market.
  • Manages relationships with all internal stakeholders (pricing, cargo revenue optimisation, corporate communications, and local sales organizations) in order to ensure that objectives and strategies are understood and implemented across the market
  • Ensures that the salesfollow up system is up to date and effectively used.
  • Effectively analyse MIS reports and implements ways to improve revenue streams.
  • Ensures FZ EK coop for mutual benefit.
  • Manages the development of team members via training programmes ensuring they are up to dates with the sales techniques and methodologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
