    Description

    Ensure thecleanliness of cities and maintain the generalappearance support inthe implementation of laws to maintain the publicappearance manage public hygiene projects and manage and developemployees. Ensure business development andstrategy implementation in line with thedepartments plans and ensure increased operational efficiencycompliance and quality

    Directing andmanaging the departments staff in accomplishing theirtasks.

    Define andmonitor the operational goals objectives and programs of theDepartment.

    Prepare reportson the overall performance of the department and submit themto the ExecutiveDirector.

    Review allperiodic reports prepared by the Department to ensure that they arecompleted within the specified timeframes.

    Review allservices and work of the department and ensure theirquality.

    Ensure that theperformance of all tasks and the conduct of employees areconsistent with the policies and procedures of theorganization.

    Inform the CEOof the progress of work under hismanagement.

    Ensure that allresources have the competencies and skills required to performmanagement tasks.

    Review anddiscuss improvement points for the evaluation process withevaluators if needed and adopt periodic evaluations of managementstaff.

    Identify therequired skills and experience and nominate the nominated employeesto attend the appropriate training programs (in coordination withthe Human ResourcesDepartment).

    Ensure thatmanagement policies and procedures are documented and adheredto.

    Identifytechnological needs that ensure efficient and costeffectivemanagement processes in coordination with the concerneddepartment.

    Directingthe activities of the management of public hygieneprojectswith the aim of achieving theset objectives and doubling operational efficiency. Performsupervisory tasks and exercise financial and administrative powersaccording to the level determined by the senior management of thisposition.

    Developing andimplementing the departments strategy formanaging public cleaning projects in line with the needs of theEmirate of Abu Dhabi and doubling the performance of thedepartment. This includes setting policies procedures andguidelines for these services and supervising their implementationidentifying the basic initiatives and key performance indicators ofthe department preparing the annual budget including thedepartments needs of financial human and service resourcesdeveloping operational plans and programs for the department andpreparing short and longterm actionplans.

    Generalsupervision and guidance of activities related to the outsourcing of public cleaning services in theEmirate of Abu Dhabi. This includes determining the scope of workrequired supervising the preparation of tender documents technicalevaluation of companies offers and negotiating with them to ensurethat the terms of the contract are consistent with the policies andrequirements of the department monitoring the performance ofcompanies to ensure that all activities are carried out inaccordance with the standards policies and instructions approved bythe department reviewing evaluating andpreparing special recommendations.At the prices of providingservices to ensure the financial feasibility ofprojects.

    Carrying outother tasks related to activities inpublic cleaning services including following up on changes in therelevant laws and regulations monitoring project cost differencesin terms of costs compared to the approved budget and schedulestaking measures to correct any deviations in the work plan ensuringcompliance with health safety and security requirements inaccordance with the approved regulations and regulations in thisregard and dealing with any violations in this regard conductingsudden field inspection tours of work sites attend committeemeetings conferences seminars askedetc.

    Assess approveand prioritize work in accordance with thedepartments directives project objectives and workload. Thisincludes identifying the departments resource needs selectingdifferent project teams planning and prioritizing work settingproject completion schedules ensuring that project objectives areachieved and adhering to safety standards and legalrequirements.

    Ensure that theexternal parties contracting with theDepartment have all their needs ofmachinery equipment materials and resources necessary to carry outthe work and activities undertaken. This includes reviewing thespecial reports developed by the project teams and takingcorrective action in the event of nonimplementation in accordancewith the approved plans. Setting standards for monitoring allactivities of providing public cleaning services resolvingissues related to contracts and managingrelatedrisks.

    Developing arisk management system quality and developing environmental healthand safety standards related to the scope of work of the submittedprojects to ensure the efficiency of the management of thoseprojects

    Develop anexpanded database that includes all the range of services providedand project managementtools

    Keeping abreastof all new professional developments in the provision of publichygiene services including technologies and systems by reviewing publications and practicesattending relevant seminars and informingthe contracts and projects officer and the concerned managementstaff of these developments. And communicate and cooperate withresearch and development bodies in this field to ensure theapplication of new technologies andmethods.

    Develop andnurture productive working relationships with the community througheffective communication with the public and stakeholders includingidentifying their needs and designing appropriate solutions to meetthem providing advice and conducting fieldvisits.

    Directing theactivities that take place in theoperating room including supervising thedevelopment and ensuring compliance with the service deliveryschedule supervising the process of providing public hygieneservices to ensure efficiency andadherence to schedules in order to preserve the environment andprevent environmental pollution. Encourage the proper practices ofthe population in accordance with the policies and instructions oftheDepartment.

    Supervisinginvestigations and preparing reports on illegal dumping of wasteand coordinating with the concernedauthorities.



    Requirements

    Bachelor ofBusiness Administration or equivalent preferably MBA orequivalent.

    Minimum 1113years of experience in a similarfield.
