We are looking for a Security Analyst to one of our leading energy producers in UAE to work in their IT Project.

Location: Sharjah, UAE.

Experience: 0-3 years in cybersecurity or information security

Job Overview:

As a Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's information systems and data assets. Leveraging your expertise in cybersecurity, you will monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical information. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, seeking to contribute to the enhancement of our organization's overall security posture.

Responsibilities:

1. Security Monitoring:

• Monitor security alerts and incidents using security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Analyze network traffic patterns to detect and respond to potential security threats.

2.Incident Response:

• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Document and report security incidents, providing recommendations for preventive measures.

3.Vulnerability Management:

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate with system owners to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

4.Security Policies and Procedures:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Enforce security policies and ensure compliance across the organization.

5.Security Awareness:

• Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
• Promote a culture of security awareness and adherence to security best practices.

6.Security Tools Management:

• Manage and maintain security tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively configured.
• Collaborate with the IT team to integrate security controls into the organization's infrastructure.

7.Security Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security configurations and procedures.
• Generate reports on security metrics and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science).
2. 0-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
3. Knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
4. Familiarity with SIEM tools, vulnerability assessment tools, and security frameworks.
5. Understanding of network protocols and security architecture.
6. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent are a plus.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
