• Education: Bachelor'sdegree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, UrbanPlanning, or a related field. A master's degree in arelevant discipline would beadvantageous.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding oftransportation planning principles, traffic engineering concepts,and sustainable mobility strategies. Familiarity withtransportation modeling software and GIS tools isdesirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency inusing transportation planning software such as VISSIM, TransCAD,Cube, or similar tools. Strong data analysis and visualizationskills using software such as Excel, Python, orR.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills in English. Ability to effectivelypresent technical information to both technical and non-technicalaudiences. Proficiency in Arabic would be anasset.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analyticaland problem-solving skills to evaluate complex transportationissues and propose appropriate solutions. Ability to thinkcritically, interpret data, and draw meaningfulconclusions.
• Team Collaboration: Ability towork effectively within multidisciplinary project teams,collaborating with engineers, planners, and other professionals.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in amulticultural environment.
• Adaptability:Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, andmethodologies. Openness to embrace innovative approaches totransportation planning and mobilitychallenges.
